Lazy Sunday in Seville

Today I visited Alcazar and the Seville Cathedral. The Alcazar was really pretty to see but, I have to say, I was slightly disappointed in the Seville Cathedral. It's the largest gothic cathedral and the third largest church in the world. Sadly, it just wasn't for me. Oh well, been there done that I suppose. The only cool thing about visiting the Cathedral is that CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS has some bones buried in the church. They know it's him because his son is also buried in the church and they did DNA testing to prove that it is Christopher Columbus. I say bones because from what I understand, his body is all over the world.

Alright, picture time! The Alcazar is up first and then the Cathedral. FYI- if you click on the photo, it makes it larger!

Moving on to the Cathedral:

Chris Columbus's arm bones.

A Goya painting inside the Cathedral. The women in this painting are who the town "Los Hermanas" are named after! There's a story behind it, but I'll let you look it up :)

After walking up 34 steep ramps, I made it to the top of the tower. They have ramps instead of steps so that horses can go up into the tower... although I don't know why they would want to. Whateverrrrr.

THE END.
